Redeeming Time
“So then, be careful how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.” (Eph. 5:15-16, NASB)
I often think of landscape photography as a way to “capture a moment” that will never be able to be visited again in life. It also serves as an excuse to go out and make memorable moments with loved ones. Some of these moments are major milestones or memories of life events or vacations together and some are as simple as an evening walk along the waterfront after a Saturday evening date night as this photo will always be in my own memory. Just a very simple capture that I happened to see as we walked along the water that I thought might be an interesting image.
What are you doing with your limited moments of life? Are you walking wisely and making the most of the time? Take the time to love and serve those in your life, minister to those you find in need, and find quiet time with your Lord. Walk purposefully, walk slowly, walk with an understanding that time is precious. God gives us a finite allotment of moments in life so make the most of them.
One more thing… take some pictures along the way if you can.
